BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
WHAT IS A LUMP.... ??????????
a piece or mass of solid matter without regular shape or of no particular shape... ok there are many defintions of a lump but thats my lump over there- ok one of my lumps....but this lump is not that bad!
OK SO MY PICTURE IS NOT BEING MEAN BUT THIS LUMP NEVER MOVES FROM THIS COUCH- UNLESS ITS WORK OR FOOD OR POTTY TIME-YEP>>>HE NAPS THERE TOO...yes he is asleep there and holding the control-haha!
On a serious note..lumps found in the breast are just that..irregular..when I found mine it was a small tiny pea size.
How did I find it so quick? I did my monthly exams (ok I was a paranoid person and did it at least once a week- but I knew instantly when something was wrong)so I knew when something was out of place.
Unfortunately mine was small the day I found mine and grew like wild between the time I got in for an appointment. Mine was still caught in time.
In that time I learned the ins and outs of no insurance and who to call and what to say for help, and nowadays its easier to find help on the internet.
During that time though I had heard the stories of people how much mammograms hurt, how painful they were and so on..so fear set in but when I walked in ...it was a piece of cake.
Please do your monthly exams so you know what your breast should be like and that way if you find a lump, you know right away.
If you do a little searching through my listing I have alot of links for self exams and free mammograms..please don't let the fear of the unknown scare you to death and send you into a panic...its really easy and could save your life.
