will have a new President. Goodbye Mr. President Bush, thankyou for your service and your time..it has been an adventure. May the new President coming in, help the economy and bring the change that has been promised- not holding my breath at this time but we have seen miracles happen in the past week so who knows. May his daughters be at peace in their new home, in a new enviorment ..their lives will never be the same again. I pray the White House does not turn into celebrityville, and the new president gets down to business and gets to work on getting America turned around and back to work and the economy going. Even as a republican, I may not have voted for him, but he is our going to be our president, and if we do not support him and hope he succeeds then in the end we all lose.
It has been a wild week, with the plane crash over the Hudson and thank God all survived. I sat with some who said so what, if that did not bring chills down your spine watching and praying and thinking what a miracle...well then dig deep down because you must not have a heart or soul. I have flown in and out of that airport and seriously, anytime you are in a plane you pray for the crew. Anytime I fly, I thank the Captain and the staff... and I have had people next to me say why thank them..they are paid this is their job. Thursday afternoon is why you thank them, you put your life in the Captains hands and he got you down - say thank you. Even for the crew who keep things calm - say a little thankyou- bite your tongue and do it.
I am praying all have a safe week, and are staying warm. God Bless.
That miraculous landing (and rescue) did strike me to the heart. I was so grateful all were saved. What an amazing pilot!
ReplyDeleteYou're a good person. Lots of blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteI would like to arrange to only fly on that pilot's flights!
