COUNTRY BOB'S REVIEW and GIVEAWAY

MY FIRST GIVEAWAY!!!!

CONTEST IS CLOSED- WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN A LITTLE WHILE
I recently had the pleasure to try Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce, to review. To be honest I have been using. Country Bob's for many years. It's really delicious and my family thinks that its a winner! Like they say, it's more than just a steak sauce. I love the flavor and can't wait to try more of their sauce varieties- just found out they have spicy and seasoning salt as well as bbq sauce so I am on the hunt now for the new products. Along with the All Purpose Sauce they have expanded the product line to include BBQ Sauce, Seasoning Salt and Spicy All Purpose Sauce. They have an online gift shop to send gift packages and order goodies for yourself. Anyone wanting to order me a "hey its your first giveaway- Congrats package"..I am eyeing the cookbook and the seasoning salt gift pack! Really the items are ones anyone would love year round and are useable products they will enjoy.

In 1968 Country Bob perfected the sauce of his dreams. After years of giving the sauce to friends and family he began to sell it in 1977. It was actually October of 1982 when Country Bob, Inc. became the company, which remains today. Bob Edson, Terry Edson, Al Malekovic and Reed Malekovic formed a corporation with equal ownership. It would be nice if we could claim responsibility for the success of the company, however, credit must be given where credit is due. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." We have placed true ownership of Country Bob, Inc. in the hands of God. "Christ is our CEO" and He is an Awesome Boss!

I have used Country Bob's in everything- and I do mean everything over the years..from mixing with pasta, vegies and meat as a sauce, to mixing in turkey for turkey burgers, steak, chops, ribs, fries, even making it a roast beef sauce for hot roast beef and peppers.
My husband even tosses it on his breakfast of sausage, eggs and hash browns making a mash - and the possibilities of the product are endless as far as I am concerned. I have used with beans and meat in the slowcooker and it has been a tasty treat over rice. My kiddos love it with nuggets amd fries, or on grilled chicken strips.

I was really flattered and honored that I was asked to put my comments out there as I am a proud buyer already of this product.

Here is a little bit about the company from AL at Country Bob's ...Last night I took little smokiest to church and they were a hit. Just heat the little smokies in a crock pot, drain off the juice, add a bottle of Country Bobs and 3/4 can of Whole Cranberry sauce. Heat and serve. Country Bob Edison invented Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce in 1968. He owned a gas station and liked to cook for the guys that hung out with him. He couldn't find a sauce that he really liked so he came up with Country Bobs BBQ sauce. He marketed first as a BBQ sauce but we found that it was so much more the a BBQ sauce. Steak Sauce , dipping sauce, flavoring sauce, cooking sauce, he name it Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce. In 1982 Country Bob, his son Terry and Terry's father in law Al Malekovic and Reed Al's son formed a corp. and we were off and running. Country Bob was a carnival barker and Don Rickles all in one. When we did a food show he made sure every one sampled Country Bobs one way or another. You could hear him all over the whole conference room. Country Bobs being an All Purpose Sauce the uses are unlimited. We came up with a 1001 uses. From check mix, shrimp dip, gravies, soups, stews, grilling and the favorite of the kids a DIPPING sauce. Recipes like Stuffed Green Pepper Soup, Hungarian Goulash, Camping Silver Treasure Chests, Sour Cream Slaw dressing, Old Settlers Beans, Taco Soup,Incredible Fudge, Country Bob's Bacon and Cheese Mashed Potatoes and I could go on and on. I have been sent recipe after recipe. Also our local college Kaskaskia College culinary department have helped us and have cooked up hundreds of recipes to see how good they were. Our All Purpose Sauce is our flag ship, then our seasoning salt is also great. About 40% of the recipes in our cookbook are from customers of ours, the rest I came up with. Anyplace you see ketsup, worcestershire sauce, tomatoes your can replace with Country Bobs.

My family, Terrys family and Reeds family are all involved in the Lord's work. We have always put our trust in Him and by using His teaching (especially the Fruits of the Spirit, Galatians 5-22 & 23). He has Blessed our company beyond our imagination. There are 41 in my family, my wife of 55years, 3 kids and their spouses, 10 grand children, 6 grand children in laws, 16 great grandchildren. We all live in Centralia and all go to the same church, Greenview Christian Church. I don't mean to brag, but I am very very proud of my family. Thanks for you time and have a Merry Merry CHRISTmas. Al Malekovic
Ok he said fudge- ok gotta go lookie that one up too.

What do I barbecue? Meat. I have a great oven barbecued spare ribs (pork) recipe that I inherited from my mother. We have been working on a good beef BBQ recipe and I think we hit it just recently. And everything else from hot-dogs to steak are in danger of getting a slathering of sauce when I am around.

I love how they credit the Lord for all of the company's success. I was fortunate enough to recieve a coupon for a free bottle in the mail for the All-Purpose Sauce. I found it at my local Kroger here in Arkansas. It hung out in the fridge a while until one day hubby ran out of A-1. He opened the bottle and just loved it. Now it is all we buy. Even if you don't win the free bottles, go out and buy one. You'll see you are a winner for sure.
